The montcalm club Terms & Conditions

At The Montcalm Club we take great care to provide you with the best and most helpful information through our website, and invite and advise all our visitors to read and understand our terms and conditions carefully before finalizing their bookings.

By making a booking via our website, you also accept and agree with all terms and conditions set out below. The terms and conditions are all standard to the industry. For more information on our Booking Terms & Conditions please click here.

  1. Reward Points
    1. The Montcalm Club points may be earned at any of The Montcalm Luxury Hotels.
    2. Members will be awarded TEN (10) points for each ONE (1) eligible British Pound Sterling (or its equivalent in another currency) paid on the member hotel room rate only.
    3. Members paying in any currency other than British Pound Sterling will have their amount spent converted into British Pound Sterling at the rate applicable on their check-out date.
    4. The Montcalm Club offers membership to all individual guests.
    5. Points will only be awarded on Net Total Room Revenue spent per stay.
    6. No points will be awarded for room rate taxes, food and beverage, service charges, tips, gratuities, telephone or fax charges, in-room movies, business centre expenses, transportation, vouchers, spa, events charges, no-show or cancellation fees.
    7. The Montcalm Club membership is non-transferable from one member to another.
    8. Points are awarded after check-out, once full payment has been processed and a membership number is attached to the reservation.
    9. Members can access their account information online at www.themontcalmclub.com
    10. If Members have not received points for their stay at any of The Montcalm Luxury Hotels, they must contact The Montcalm Club Customer Care Team in writing with a legible copy of the Member's hotel folio within six months from their check-out date. The hotels have the right to deny such credits if members fail to provide adequate documentation. For the member's benefit, members should keep all hotel travel documents safe until they are awarded points for their stays.
    11. The Montcalm Club points are not redeemable for cash or any other form of credit and can only be redeemed for a reward night stay, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the programme. Points have no cash value. Points cannot be purchased or sold.
    12. An eligible rate is any hotel room rate booked, which entitles Montcalm Club members to receive points for their stays. Eligible rates for The Montcalm Club are those booked directly through our official websites, Central Reservations Office, Customer Care Team as well as corporate and negotiated rates.
  2. Reward Limitations
    1. The Montcalm Club Points are not awarded for complimentary rooms.
    2. Points are not awarded for stays at the following room rates: Net wholesale individual and group rate, Group discounted rate, Employee rate, Seasonal worker/crew rate, Industry discount rate, complimentary hotel stays and online travel agent rates.
    3. A Member may earn points for amounts spent on up to 4 hotel rooms at the same time, in condition that the member is a registered guest, each of the rooms is booked in his/her name, occupies at least one of the rooms and pays personally for all rooms. The occupants of the other rooms will not receive The Montcalm Club points if they are members of the rewards programme.
    4. The Montcalm Club points will not be awarded beyond the termination date of a Member's participation in the Club. However The Montcalm Club members will be provided six months from the termination date to redeem the points they have in their account. Any points remaining beyond that date will expire.
    5. Please note that in the case of bookings via a third party, any upgrade charge paid by the guest at check-in will not attract reward points towards their stay.
    6. Redeeming The Montcalm Club points for rooms at participating properties is subject to availability at the time of reservation and advanced reservations are required.
    7. A member can receive The Montcalm Club points for bookings dated no more than 2 months before joining the Rewards programme.
    8. The Montcalm Club points cannot be transferred between 2 accounts.
    9. A member's account cannot be used by anybody else in order to accrue The Montcalm Club points and benefits.
    10. The Montcalm Club can not be used in conjunction with any other Rewards Programme.
  3. Notification of Changes
    1. At any time, with or without notice, The Montcalm Luxury Hotels reserve the right to change, modify or cancel The Montcalm Club regulations and rewards.
    2. Any changes will be shown on The Montcalm Club Terms and Conditions available at The Montcalm Club official website and will be effective immediately, unless stated otherwise.
    3. We will try to notify The Montcalm Club Members of any changes to Terms & Conditions, but will not be liable for failure to do so.
  4. Reward Nights
    1. In order to redeem The Montcalm Club points for a Reward Night at The Montcalm Luxury Hotels, members must make a reservation directly with The Montcalm Club. A Credit Card guarantee is required at time of booking.
    2. To redeem points for complimentary night stays, members must log into www.themontcalmclub.com and click on Redeem points. Alternatively they can send an email to customercare@themontcalmclub.com or call +44(0)2074792244 to make a booking. Please note that a minimum period of 48 hours notice is required to redeem points for a reward night stay.
    3. There is a limited number of rooms for Free Night Award redemption on a daily basis. Reward night stays and upgrades are subject to availability and blackout dates apply, therefore The Montcalm Club award redemption rates may be not be available at all times.
    4. Members can redeem points for a maximum of two rooms for 1 night each or One room for a maximum of two consecutive nights.
    5. Montcalm Club members require 40,000 points to redeem a complimentary night stay in a standard double room, 60,000 points for a Club room and 80,000 points for a Suite.
    6. The Montcalm Club reservations are subject to The Montcalm Luxury Hotels' cancellation policy. If a member cancels his/her booking less than 24 hours prior to arrival, 50% of the points from his first night will be deducted from the guest's account. Additionally in case of a no show, 100% of the points for the first night will be deducted from the guest's account.
    7. Montcalm Club Reward Nights are for standard guest rooms, Club rooms and Suites. Montcalm Club free night awards are valid for single or double occupancy. Any additional guest is subject to the applicable hotel charges. Reward night rooms include Full English breakfast and exclude any other food and beverages from our outlets. Any extra charges must be paid directly to the hotel prior to check-out.
    8. Reward nights will not count toward reaching higher status with The Montcalm Club Loyalty Programme.
    9. The Montcalm Luxury Hotels reserve the right to restrict, suspend, modify or substitute the Reward Nights policy at any time without notice.
  5. Maintaining Account Information
    1. When a member enrolls in The Montcalm Club Rewards programme, he or she will receive an email confirming their membership along with a reminder of their username (the email ID that they used when they joined the program).
    2. Members can access their account online at www.themontcalmclub.com and are responsible for notifying The Montcalm Club of any address or username change.
    3. At The Montcalm Luxury Hotels we are dedicated to protecting your privacy, we collect and use your personal information to give you superior guest services and keep you informed. You can unsubscribe to any or all marketing communication at any point. As a strict company policy The Montcalm Luxury Hotel Group will not disclose any of your personal data to other parties other than those that need access to your data to provide you with a service within The Montcalm Luxury Hotel Group and/or our trusted partners network.
  6. Other Benefits of The Montcalm Club Membership
    1. The Montcalm Club offers members a 10% saving on the Best Available rate when members log in to their account through www.themontcalmclub.com and make their booking directly through our official website (subject to availability).
    2. The 10% saving is valid for Montcalm Club members only. Bookings must be made in the member's name and rooms cannot be booked for someone else unless one of the rooms will be occupied by the member. Members can earn points for up to four rooms per night.
    3. Points will only be awarded to members on the rate that was paid for the stay. Points are only awarded once the stay charges have been wholly paid and processed.
    4. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or rewards programme. The offer cannot be used on packages, special offers or discounted rates. No cash alternative available.
    5. The 10% saving is valid from 1 November 2017 and will not be applied to any bookings made prior to this date. Confirmed bookings cannot be modified to include the 10% saving.
    6. The Montcalm Club reserves the right to withdraw this offer with or without prior notice.
    7. Should the offer change or be discontinued, reservations placed with the existing offer will honoured as booked.
    8. Reaching Gold status. Gold membership is attained when Montcalm Club members have 20 eligible stays or spend 30 eligible nights in a qualifying year at Montcalm Luxury Hotels.
    9. The Gold criteria for stays or nights must be met by Gold members the following year to maintain their status. If that is not the case, Gold members will be downgraded to Silver status the subsequent year.
    10. Reaching Platinum status. Platinum membership is attained when Montcalm Club members have 40 eligible stays or spend 60 eligible nights in a qualifying year at The Montcalm Luxury Hotels.
    11. The Platinum criteria for stays or nights must be met by Platinum members the following year to maintain their status. If that is not the case, Platinum members will be downgraded to Gold status the subsequent year.
