London is one of the most popular cities in Europe to visit. That’s why so many people come to visit on such a regular basis. South London is a well known London borough with a wide range of opportunities for those living in the area. With Elephant and Castle being one of the most central Southern areas of the city, you can see why the area is under plenty of development. In Brixton, you’ll be able to find a range of activities, including the popular Ritzy cinema and Brixton Windmill gig venue. With the Brixton O2 bringing some of the biggest names of music to the streets of the city, you can also enjoy some smaller musicians at the many venues around the area. Other areas of interest for those visiting South London would be Crystal Palace Park with its dinosaur models, lakes and large playing fields. With Balham and Clapham bringing great shopping opportunities and lovely scenic walks on Clapham Common, you can see why South London is so popular.

North London is known for its upmarket living and beautiful green spaces. For those looking for a great day out in North London, then Hampstead Heath is a great place to start. With it’s amazing lidos and woodland, the park is one of the best places to take a walk in the city. On top of this, you can find a range of great walks in Highgate woods and cemetery, where many famous people have been buried. This includes such figures as Karl Marx, whilst the area of Highgate itself is known for its artisan cafes and boutique shopping opportunities. Those looking for a night out in North London would find it best to start in Camden. With its wide range of pubs, bars and clubs, Camden has always been one of the trendiest parts of the city, with its great music and vibes all year round. In the day time you can check out the amazing Camden Market and canal routes as well.

Things to do in West London

West London is the most affluent part of the city and is home to popular central areas such as the West End and high end destinations such as Chiswick where the beautiful Kew Gardens is located. For theatre and dining opportunities, the West Ends Soho and Picadilly are the centre of the bright lights and hustle and bustle of London’s creative industries, whilst the outer areas will bring you to Kensington and Chelsea for designer clothes brands and art museums such as the Saatchi gallery. West London also plays host to Sloane Square and the popular Royal Court Theatre whilst Notting hIll brings you Portobello Market and Notting Hill.
